I started Mindtap at the end of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. Why?
Practically… it was because my job was eliminated due to a joint venture. But really… I started it to take a chance on me.
I had been asking myself lately, what was next?
“I help diverse leaders to be seen and heard, without changing who you are or where you are.”
I took a year to experiment. I created different offerings, worked on various projects, partnered, gave webinars, created LinkedIn content, and spoke with so many people about so many things.
In the end… I settled on where my heart was calling me.
I help non-traditional leaders (women, minorities, introverts, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, support functions…) to be seen and heard, without changing who you are or where you are.
I’m a “non-traditional” leader myself (woman, Asian, introvert, technical, look really young).
In past corporate roles I felt like I could do more, but wasn’t always given the chance. Until I found a way to break through, without changing my job. Now, I love helping others do the same.
