Quiet Leadership

October 23, 2024

Quiet can be powerful.

Quiet leadership leads through actions rather than words. Quiet leaders inspire others by example and foster trust without the need for constant attention.

Real influence can speak softly and still be effective.

This is my leadership style. Is it yours?

The thing is… most people perceive Leadership to be extroverted, ‘on stage’, louder and charismatic.

However, just because you’re a quieter professional, doesn’t mean you aren’t leadership material.

In fact, quieter professionals do a lot of thinking, observing, and connecting the dots… creating amazing ideas!

Those ideas are your superpower.

Leaders are visionaries.

Leaders see what’s possible.

And your ideas can shape the future.

“Quiet people have the loudest minds.”

The #1 secret I gave in my 2.5-hour workshop on Quiet Influence a few weeks ago…

** Share your ideas **

I’ve held back from sharing my ideas… so many times.

But the thing is:

– You don’t need to shout about them.

– You don’t need to be charismatic when sharing.

– You don’t even need to share them in big meetings.

You can share your ideas in 1:1 conversations.

Conversations with real connection.

And when you do…

➤ You demonstrate your thought leadership.

➤ You strengthen your ideas with feedback.

➤ You build lasting relationships.

➤ You expand your network.

➤ You gain supporters.

Your ideas need to be shared.

Because that’s what leaders do.

Leaders paint a picture of an amazing future,

So we can all join in making it happen.
